Three and a half years on the Quebec RACJ register: an artisanal brewer's permit issued on 26 June 1994 and revoked on 5 February 1998. The name is a near-cousin of Montréal's Le Sergent Recruteur, another brewpub in this archive, though no connection between them is recorded anywhere. Permit registers give exact dates and almost nothing else, which for a brewery this size is a fair trade.
