From the record
Summary
Type: Historical brewery / Valchiavenna industrial brewery. Direct archival evidence resolves the existence of an operating Valchiavenna Mattoi-Vanossi factory. Regional history places Riva-Mattoi-Vanossi at Santa Croce and later calls the Spluga brewery 'già Mattoi-Vanossi'. Exact founding date, partners/legal form, relationship to the Lecco premises, and dated Spluga transfer remain unresolved. [Italy Pass 34]
