Why this matters
Family-run — brewmaster Clay Potter with Anne and Steve Potter — out of a predecessor operation at 350 Bay Street, then sold and rebranded as Brass Monkey across 2025 and 2026. The brewing, the building and some of the recipes carried on under the new owners, which is precisely the case where an archive has to decide whether a brewery still exists. This one says no. Moon Under Water is kept as its own historical identity rather than folded into its successor, because continuity of equipment is not continuity of a brewery.
