Official brewery emphasizes North Fork agriculture and locally grown crops/yeast; Lewin Farms independently documents a multi-year local-fruit beer series brewed by North: Northforker documents public tasting-room opening June 29, 2018 in the former Riverhead Fire Department headquarters. Founders/cousins Peter Barraud and Ian Van Bourgondien grew hops on the Van Bourgondien family farm in Peconic beginning in 2016.
