Summary
A 1879 Siskiyou News advertisement identifies Pacific Brewery, Yreka, under Charles Iunker/Junker and advertises extra-quality beer. The 1885 Siskiyou County directory again lists Pacific Brewery under Charles Iunker. Earlier local-history material says some Yreka/Siskiyou brewery operations were consolidated into Pacific Brewery in the 1860s, but removes the generic 'Yreka Brewery' alias because the 1875 Pacific Coast Business Directory simultaneously lists Charles Peters as a brewer on Miner Street and William Jeaskel as proprietor of Pacific Brewery on Oregon Street. Charles Peters' Yreka Brewery is therefore preserved as a distinct concurrent operation. Exact Pacific Brewery founding/legal predecessor sequence remains held.
