The People
Behind the beer
First-person/professional experience page gives the title and start month and describes major technical upgrades. Current continuity is retained as a dated claim rather than independently verified employment status.
Frank Wenzl names Greg Yount as Palau Brewing Company's head brewer in 1998. Honolulu Magazine later states Yount and Wenzl together opened Palau's first brewery in 1998. This is recorded as operational/opening-team evidence, not proof of corporate ownership.
Brewer biography states Callahan accepted the Palau Brewing Co. Brewery Manager position in Dec 2000 and moved to South Korea in 2004.
Interview account says he sourced and installed brewing equipment for the Koror project in 1998. Honolulu Magazine later states that Wenzl and Greg Yount together opened Palau's first brewery in 1998. This supports launch-team status, not corporate founder/owner status.
Island Times identifies Bandibas as a former Head Brewer while discussing Red Rooster Light and Wheat. Separate 2009 Tia Belau-derived community reporting identifies a Lucio Bandibas of WCTC, but does not prove his brewery role had already begun by that date.

Style/ABV rely partly on secondary beer database; current product identity and producer are official. (Active / current product)
Drank this? Add it to your passport →Red Rooster Light
Year-RoundAmerican Light Lager
Current official product identity/manufacturer attribution is strong. Current database ABV is 5%, but a May 2018 Island Times article quotes former head brewer Lucio Bandibas saying Red Rooster Light was 3% ABV then. Preserve as a formulation/ABV chronology conflict rather than overwriting one with the other. (Active / current product)
Drank this? Add it to your passport →Red Rooster Tropic Ale
Year-RoundAmerican IPA
ABV/IBU from secondary beer database; current product identity corroborated by WCTC catalog/menu. (Active / current product)
Drank this? Add it to your passport →Red Rooster Stout
Year-RoundStout
WCTC catalogs Stout under part 40056181026 while also retaining a separate Dark product name/part number. Distinct catalog identities are proven; recipe/alias relationship remains unresolved and Dark is not separately counted. (Active / current product)
Drank this? Add it to your passport →Red Rooster Wheat
Year-RoundHefeweizen / Wheat Beer
Seasonal status preserved from product naming. (Active / current product)
Drank this? Add it to your passport →Red Rooster English Pale Ale
Year-RoundEnglish Pale Ale
Beer identity and 5% ABV remain secondary-source supported. BeerAdvocate now shows a June 25, 2026 rating/status and Untappd has July 2026 activity, strengthening recent existence/availability evidence, but no current official brewery/store listing was located. (RECENT 2026 Community / official current status unconfirmed)
