A soda-water family that ended up holding two of Winnipeg's breweries. Archaeological research traces the Pelissiers from soft drinks through Beaver Brewing and Bottling, then the Home Brewery, to a 1925 move to Osborne and Mulvey as Pelissiers Limited. City of Winnipeg heritage research later places them in control of the old Blackwood plant, and in 1971 they amalgamated with Kiewel. Four business names and two brewery sites, from people who started out bottling pop.
