Ownership & corporate history
- Acquired Seychelles Breweries
Open questionRecorded, not yet proven. It stays open until a source settles it.
What the sources say
Outreach evidence of September 2026 identifies a recent Phoenix Beverages ownership relationship. The archive already records Diageo as parent with the brewery classified Macro-owned, and BOTH ARE RETAINED: a Diageo subsidiary later passing to Phoenix Beverages of Mauritius would be ordinary corporate succession, but no date, mechanism or source establishes it. START DATE UNKNOWN and deliberately not inferred. parentLabel stays Diageo until the transition is evidenced. TO VERIFY: the transaction date and whether Phoenix acquired the brewery, a stake in it, or Diageo's holding company.
Ownership history is kept as dated events, so a change of owner never overwrites the one before it.
