William Pinchbeck's brewery and distillery, near where the Comer Station Pub stands, with equipment brought from California by wagon (Williams Lake Tribune's history column) — the column dates it to 1862 against the record's 1870; both kept. Pack trains left his store "loaded, as usual, with kegs of White Wheat Whiskey".
