Historical lineage begins in 1799; the family brewery entered SIBRA/Cardinal in 1971 and the plant passed under Feldschlösschen in 1991. Status: Closed site — Last production 2002-09-06. Dietschy/habich family → SIBRA → FELDSCHLÖSSCHEN The Salmenbräu company/brand was absorbed decades before the physical Rheinfelden production plant finally closed; keep corporate and site closure dates separate.
