    A landmark in a snowslide

    Slocan Mining Review, 16 April 1908: "Road Inspector McLean had a big contract on this week cutting through a snowslide that came down near the Sandon Brewery" (PRIMARY) — the building still a landmark seven years after the record's 1901 end; whether it still brewed is not said. Founder and the 1900 fire: UNKNOWN.
