Summary
Historical production brewery. Brandon Sun's account of Wright & Craig's Manitoba brewery research identifies Spring Hill Brewery as operating in Minnedosa from 1886 to 1894. Demand became so strong in 1888 that it reportedly stopped advertising; the brewery later burned, was rebuilt, and after tax troubles and the death of a founder the operation was moved to Neepawa in 1894. CHECKED 2026-09-24: MHS's Minnedosa pages (museum, armoury, regional archives) do not mention the brewery; Wright & Craig's research, via the Brandon Sun, remains the source. Founders' names: UNKNOWN.
