"founded in 2000 by three former employees of Upper Canada Brewing Company" — Greg Taylor, Cam Heaps and Greg Cromwell, laid off after the Sleeman sale, who "called themselves the 'Three fired guys' or 3FG" — in the John Street Roundhouse, brewing one pilsner. The archive's 1999 is the founding; the first beer came in 2000.
