Status: CLOSED / FORECLOSED 1939. Address: LaSalle, ON — Front Road brewery; exact historic civic number HELD. Federal 1938 roster lists Hofer in LaSalle. Local history dates the brewery to 1927/1928 on Front Road. A federal competition-history report says the Canadian brewing consolidator obtained control in 1939 through shares and first-mortgage bonds and then foreclosed.
