Weekly Sutter Banner advertisements document Yuba City Brewery under L. M. Bottler by 1867-68. Marysville Daily Appeal says Fred Klempp reopened it in 1875; later historical material documents the brewery in 1881. Exact first opening and final closure years remain held.
