Saint-Roch and Limoilou run neighbourhood breweries with genuinely local loyalties, while an hour north the Charlevoix hills hold one of the province's most respected brasseries. This is the oldest continuously European-settled ground in Canada, and the beer culture behaves like it — less trend-chasing, more insistence on doing a style properly.
